Lover of strong coffee, bad jokes, and recreational landscapes, Michael Broderick landed at Kiser Vogrin Design in January 2016, and he’s been exploring and creating outdoor spaces ever since.
After testing a few different majors at the University of Georgia, Michael found his calling during his sophomore year when he discovered Landscape Architecture. Now, pursuing landscape design as a professional, Michael finds himself doing a little bit of everything at KVD. From drafting planting plans one day to creating graphics for client presentations the next, Michael’s role is fluid and keeps him on his toes.
Upon graduating, Michael’s goal was simple—to find a job he loves around people that he enjoys. At KVD, he found the best of both worlds. Here, he has the opportunity to pursue his interest in landscape design for parks and public spaces and hang with coworkers that he considers pretty great. And for that, he feels extremely fortunate.
Michael’s love of the outdoors doesn’t end at the office. Whether it’s kayaking and fishing or trying new breweries, if it’s something outside, he’s interested. And while he’s still adjusting to being so far away from his coastal home in Savannah, Georgia, he’s managed to find a tree-filled neighborhood in East Nashville to call home.
