Chief Financial Officer
Diane King—or D$ (D-money) as she’s known at Kiser Vogrin Design—is the financial-managing, mastermind who steers the KVD ship. After consulting with KVD on a freelance basis, it was apparent that her creative side made her our perfect CFO, so she joined the team full time. And she’s been absolutely on it ever since.
As CFO, Diane is responsible for all things money and people. From accounting and financial management to HR and day-to-day business management, Diane attributes her success to being both left and right brained. Simply translated—that means she’s an expert at effectively communicating technical financial and accounting information to a team full of creatives.
And those skills have come in handy on countless occasions. Experiencing rapid growth, the firm was quickly outgrowing their accounting, billing, and financial management software. Diane recognized the need and led the team in a complete overhaul and migration to industry-specific financial and project management software. Thanks to her airtight organizational skills and fluid communication, the changeover was smooth and has significantly improved KVD’s business and financial management.
Numbers aren’t the only thing on Diane’s mind, though. She also tends to Human Resource (HR) matters for KVD, taking good care of the team, all while drinking raspberry tea from Sonic, of course. When she’s not in the office, you can find Diane at her home in Franklin hanging out with her spouse, Angie, their cats, Ringeux and Pepe, and their dog, Rosie. As a cancer survivor Diane celebrates every day, spending time playing her guitars, writing songs and eating home cooked meals at her Mom’s house. You can also find Diane on the open road where she loves to explore the U.S.A. or experiencing travel adventures abroad.
