He’s a Jack-of-all-trades, a master of “serenity now,” and a guy who can answer 90 percent of your questions—he’s Chris Wood. From urban infill to single-family residences, Chris manages a wide variety of projects at Kiser Vogrin Design. But, his responsibilities don’t stop at project management. Chris is also a mentor to the entire KVD team for all things site design, landscape, and irrigation design and construction documents and detailing.
Above all, Chris is on a mission to help KVD build a landscape architecture firm that’s your go-to for projects in Williamson County and recognized as an industry leader in Tennessee and across the Southeast. His goal is to enhance KVD’s reputation for quality work by leveraging new technologies and thought processes to create influential designs for the most dynamic projects.
With more than 20 years in the landscape architecture industry, Chris knows a thing or two about how to succeed in a growing industry—and how to do while still having a little heart. As a husband of more than 15 years, a father of two competitive boys and an owner of two rescue pets—a dog, who is blind and deaf, and a cat, who his wife rescued from a busy state highway—Chris understands the value of patience, persistence, and good craft beers (his current favorite is Mantra Brewery’s Krewe De Schaffer).
