Alicia Haydon has been dreaming of being a designer since she was a little girl. From jewelry making to architecture, Alicia has been a creative from an early age. Her path in landscape design started during college where an internship led her to a full-time job designing outdoor living spaces. In this role, she gained valuable experience in design, sales, and project management for residential and commercial projects. Now, as a Landscape Designer for Kiser Vogrin Design, Alicia is living the dream and never has a dull day.
At KVD, Alicia has a variety of responsibilities. Whether she’s working with the team on site planning, landscape and hardscape designs, hand-rendered graphics, or even maintaining the company website, she does a little bit of everything. And she’s the perfect girl for the job. Alicia is cool under pressure and thrives in an environment where her peers challenge her to improve and she has the opportunity to explore, learn, and share new projects.
Alicia is soaking up knowledge and the firm experience at KVD in hopes of pursuing her licensure as a Landscape Architect in the near future. In the meantime, she’s continuing to realize her passion for landscape design and bridging the gap between the built environment and nature. Alicia’s love of nature extends to her personal life. And as an avid sailor and camping/hiking/biking enthusiast, she loves doing just about anything outdoors—especially drinking local beer!
Hailing from Noblesville, Indiana, Alicia is the oldest of four children. She has a twin, who is also in the design field, but as a graphic designer. Though Alicia is the only one of her brood to leave The Hoosier State thus far, she made sure that wherever she ended up, it was only a car ride away from home (and the family lake house in Michigan—her favorite place in the world).
